Large 15th Century Folio

Created for the 2007 film “The Summoning of Everyman”, then purchased by a prop firm and now on to a productive life in TV and film,  this large blank book weighed in at a massive ten pounds. 17 1/4″ by 11 1/2″ x 2 1/8″. Beautiful, thick and creamy laid paper, sewn on five pairs of double cords laced into heavy boards beveled inwards, and bound in dark brown vegetable tanned calf. Blind tooled in period style, with edges sprinkled in brown over light red. Hand sewn headbands over single cores.

Label will be replace to your specs (unless you really like this one.)

With a miniature book (3 1/2″ tall) for scale.
