A simple handsewn textblock, covered in a creamy alum-tawed leather. Made from cut-offs from a large medieval bookbinding project, alum-tawed leather is an ancient and incredibly strong tanning technique that results in a white-ish skin that will yellow over the centuries.

It is decorated with a simple blind pattern rolled into the leather.
