Continental Army Pocket Diary

$30.00

Made with the materials and tools of colonial America, this period-correct pocket diary is sized to carry in a shirt or coat pocket. The use of ink would have been impractical, so the pencil was most commonly used. (Pencils were imported from England at this time, as few were made in America until the mid 1800’s.) Designed with the Revolutionary War reenactor in mind, but correct all through the 1800’s.

60 pages pamphlet stitched, sheepskin (roan) spine, hand-marbled sides (assorted colors and patterns). 5 1/4″ tall, 3 1/8″ wide, 3/8″ thick (132x80x9mm).
