John Wilkes Booth Diary

$840.00

Our copy of an unusual diary owned by wealthy Shakespearean actor John Wilkes Booth. Confiscated at his arrest, its missing pages form the backbone of a variety of conspiracy theories on the assassination of president Abraham Lincoln, and a propmaker’s version was featured in the film National Treasure. Ours is of much finer construction, having passed rigorous testing by 19th century inspectors using the portal feature in the XB2000 (currently the standard for international time travel).

Constructed from fine goatskin, it features a wallet with expandable gussets, a diary which may be easily removed for replacement (using a flap capture of our own invention), pencil loop, and handy pockets for postage stamps, and for ticket stubs like, for example, Ford’s Theatre.

We have a copy with burgundy leather like the original, one in deep brown, and one in a light buckskin brown.
